Engage Release Notes 12/29/22

New Features

  • Course Completion and Progress Monitoring Reporting: E-LMS clients now have a new dashboarding experience to monitor their training campaigns! The new dashboard, live on the “Learning” tab in Engage, will help users better monitor each training campaign and identify users who are at-risk of not completing their training.

It comes packed with new features including the ability to quickly identify campaign completion over time, understand current campaign status, easily identify individual courses that are not on track for completion by all users, and an easy to find list of all users that may be at-risk of not completing training on-time or have past due training. Additionally, filters are available for course, campaign, users, and much more. All data is exportable to excel and there’s even a detail view!

Lastly, where data is available, you can view data by location and department as well. See the last release notes as well as below for more details on how that data can be entered!

We’ll be making further updates as we go, including the ability to automatically send a reminder to at-risk and out-of-compliance users as well as export to PowerPoint! Stay tuned!

  • Custom Content Workflow Change: We’ve added the ability to add custom content directly from the Custom Content screen without having to upload files to assets! This was a confusing aspect of our user experience for customer success and clients. This change enables easy course customization!

🖥️ Other Updates

  • Salesforce Data Capture: For all clients, the industry, company size, and account manager have been updated in Engage to reflect Salesforce data. Excited for the great marketing opportunities with Pendo!

  • Department Non-Mandatory for First Time User Login: In capturing demographic data from users logging in, we’ve made Department a non-mandatory field.

New Features

  • Custom URL for Individual Collections: We’re excited to have URLs for individual collections so that we can market specific collections to clients. We can tell our clients to click a link and then they will be directed to the exact collection we’d like them to view! Please note that clients will need to log in to Engage after clicking the link to a collection. For the moment, Syntrio employees trying out an individual URL will be directed to all collections instead of an individual collection (but this will be fixed next week!) so here’s a look at an example user experience:

  • Compliance Data Capture: We now capture Department, Role (Manager/Non-manager), and User Location Data for use in compliance reports. This makes it easier for compliance managers to understand reporting data and employee compliance. We’ve also made the Department field non-mandatory, which allows clients to choose if they’d like to use this data for compliance reporting.

  • Mass Updates for User Demographics: To make it easier for new and existing clients to capture more compliance data, we’ve allowed mass updates of user demographics: Location, User Type (i.e. Individual Contributor/Manager), and Department)

🖥️ Other Updates

  • Request a Quote: Request a Quote communication is logged in Salesforce and the UI on the Engage website was updated and corrected.

  • Industry and Company Size Updates: On December 16 we will update all existing accounts in Engage to reflect Industry and Company size values from Salesforce.

🔨 Fixes

  • Pendo Industry and Company Size: We’ve fixed some issues with industry and company size not populating so we can better utilize Pendo analytics to drive our business.

  • Favoriting and Moving Courses: We fixed an issue where moving courses between Favorites folders gave an error.

  • Collections Auto-Scroll: We made the auto-scroll experience smoother and easier to enjoy.

  • Add to Library (Multi-lingual): We fixed an issue where Add to Library was not working when selecting a different language for Multi-lingual course.

Here is our latest update!

UI Enhancements

  • Language Picker: The language picker will now be deactivated when a Reviewer’s Org only has one language available.

  • Report Search Page: We now disable the Export to Excel button when a Reviewer has no results displayed on the Report Search page.

🔨 Fixes

  • Dates in Rules and Alerts Emails: We currently have three different scenarios that can be built in the Rules and Alerts functions, and we have updated and/or corrected the dates displayed in the results emails for each of those scenarios.

  • Search by Report ID UI: We have corrected an issue when Reviewers were using the Search by Report ID function, some information and UI element focus was persisting between the two different reports being viewed.

 🖥️ Other Updates

  • Client Configurations: We assisted the Client Success team in resolving some issues with client configurations.

  • Migration Scripts: We whitelisted Rogers Production IP address in our Azure Cloud environment to allow our migration scripts to work properly.

  • Planned Maintenance: Several tasks were completed to create and configure a redirect to a maintenance page in our Cloud environment and to notify users of the planned maintenance in the application’s banner message area (without the need for a code release to be performed). This more efficient approach was used for the planned application downtime for the necessary updates made on Saturday December 3.
