Happy Halloween! We have a treat for you with some new and exciting updates with Awareness!

New Feature: Awareness Bursts as Standalone SCORM Courses

Clients can receive and install our content in their LMS applications and/or they can be loaded as standalone course modules within the E10 LMS platform.

Need to Know: Awareness Standalone

Before shipping the courses to clients or loading them into E10, please consider the following:

• No Quizzes: There is no ‘QUIZ’ in any of the Awareness Bursts so when you configure courses for third party installations or E10, the configuration variable “quiz_mode” shouldn’t be changed from its default value of “n”. If this is changed, it will cause an error when moving to the last page of the burst.

• No Policy Screen: There is no policy screen added in any of the Awareness Bursts so when you configure courses for third party installations or E10, the configuration variable “policy” shouldn’t be changed from its default value of “no”.

• No Policy Documents: You cannot add any policy documents or update the custom content variable “company_policy”.

• No Cultural Pulse Survey: The Cultural Pulse surveys are not available with third party installations or E10, but they will continue to be available within the Engage platform.

• No Cultural Insights: Since the survey can’t be deployed within the course, insights are only available if Awareness is used within Engage.

• No Customizations: Ideally, there should be no customization, not even “STANDARD CUSTOMIZATION” offered for the Awareness Burst courses when deployed on third party installations or E10 LMS.
