Anonymous Reporter Access to the Respond Page
A reporter may need to follow up on their initial report and correspond with the company. Syntrio provides an anonymous portal for reporters to keep abreast of the status of their reports. Although the reporter does not have access to your CMS, they have access to the Respond webpage. The reporter accesses this site using the case number of their incident report and a PIN they created when the report was initiated. Once the reporter signs in to the Respond page, they can view the report text, send anonymous messages to the company, view anonymous messages from the company, upload files associated with the report, and view any files the company permitted them to see.
An example of the Respond portal after the report logs in is shown:
The reporter can anonymously send dialog to individuals investigating the report:
Note that the reporter can view the dialog messages sent from the company but can never see the user name (email address) of the CMS user who sent it. Instead, it generically reads "Company Stated:" followed by the message text:
The reporter can upload files and view any files provided by the company for the reporter to view. The reporter can choose to delete files they added via the Respond portal, but cannot delete files uploaded by the company for them to review.
If the reporter has not provided an email address to receive updates, they will receive the following message upon login to encourage them to add an email:
Reporters can add their email at any time to the Respond page to receive updates:
Reporters can also change their PIN used to login to the Respond webpage:
