How do I communicate with a reporter/claimant?

When a claimant/reporter raises a concern, we understand that it’s critical to be able to ask for more details and maintain communication. It’s easy to continue the conversation with our Dialog with Reporter feature.

A reporter must create a PIN when filing a report to enable this feature. Some reporters may not want to continue the conversation after raising a concern. If you’d like to learn more about the reporter experience, click here.

On the Incident Reports page, you can check the Dialog Available with Reporter column to let you know if the reporter has enabled dialog capabilities for their report:

1. On the Incident Reports page, select the Manage Dialog button on the row of the desired report:

2. The Dialog page will load, allowing communication to be sent to the reporter:

3. Type your message to the reporter and click send:

4. Alternatively, you can select Quick Response to select a message template:

5. To add files for a reporter to review, select Upload File for Reporter.

What if the reporter did not enable dialog?

If the reporter chooses not to enable dialog, a reminder will appear on the Manage Dialog page:
