Manage Status Types
Administrators can create custom status types for incident reports. Syntrio predefines some system statuses that cannot be altered: Open, Pending, Closed, Unfounded, Archived, and Deleted.
To add a new Information Status Type, click on the 'Add' toolbar icon. |
Status: the name of the new status type.
Inactive: identifies whether or not this Status should appear in the dropdown list of Status types on the Add/Edit Incident Report pages. If this checkbox is checked, the status type will not appear in the Status field dropdown list.
Sort Order: identifies where in the list the new Status type will appear in the Status field dropdown list on the Add/Edit Incident Report pages.
Notes: the Administrator can add notes regarding this new Status type.
Click the 'Save' button to save the information or the 'Cancel' button to cancel the new status type.
To edit a Status Type, click on the 'Edit' row icon. |
Click the 'Save' button to save the changes made or the 'Cancel' button to discard the changes made to the status type.
To delete a Status Type, click on the ‘Delete' icon on the row toolbar or check one or more rows and click the 'Delete’ icon on the page toolbar. |
A Status type can only be deleted if it is not a predefined system status type and is not currently in use on a report.
