Manage Status Types

Administrators can create custom status types for incident reports. Syntrio predefines some system statuses that cannot be altered: Open, Pending, Closed, Unfounded, Archived, and Deleted. 

To add a new Information Status Type, click on the 'Add' toolbar icon.

Status: the name of the new status type.

Inactive: identifies whether or not this Status should appear in the dropdown list of Status types on the Add/Edit Incident Report pages. If this checkbox is checked, the status type will not appear in the Status field dropdown list. 

Sort Order: identifies where in the list the new Status type will appear in the Status field dropdown list on the Add/Edit Incident Report pages. 

Notes: the Administrator can add notes regarding this new Status type.

​Click the 'Save' button to save the information or the 'Cancel' button to cancel the new status type.

To edit a Status Type, click on the 'Edit' row icon. 

Click the 'Save' button to save the changes made or the 'Cancel' button to discard the changes made to the status type.

To delete a Status Type, click on the ‘Delete' icon on the row toolbar or check one or more rows and click the 'Delete’ icon on the page toolbar. 

​A Status type can only be deleted if it is not a predefined system status type and is not currently in use on a report.
